Join me, and a small group of women, for an intimate journey of reflection, connection, and fun in the breathtaking autumn beauty of southwest Scotland. We will be staying in Cuil Park, a small, family-run retreat center operating from a 300-year-old refurbished house, nestled in the small village of Bridge of Dee. This picturesque, rural region of Dumfries and Galloway in southwestern Scotland is a hidden gem of rolling hills, ancient forests, misty lochs and castles. This 10-day retreat is the first I’ve led in 20 years and it’s very special. An intimate gathering limited to nine adventurous women and me.

This is a retreat, not a jump-on-jump bus tour. You can decide how little or how much you want to participate. You’re not required to go on any outings or excursions. In fact, you can stay in bed all day if that’s what you want. And if you decide to join in the activities, there will still be ample time to relax, rest, journal, wander and ponder. Part of the adventure is connecting with like-minded women.

Private room accommodations with shared bathrooms; rustic accommodations, comfy beds, hotel-quality linens. 

Meals

All meals including home-cooked meals using local foods when possible, including some typical Scottish fare such as lamb, venison and fish. All lovingly prepared by Anstay, Cuil Park’s owner and resident. 

Activities

Excursions, morning ritual, free-form evening gatherings, creative writing sessions, a private coaching/spiritual guidance session with me, plus a 3-part workshop based on my latest book Women of the Always; Rooted In Wisdom, Sourced From The Dark

Dark Sky Star Gazing experience in a UNESCO biosphere

Gentle, half-day walks in a nature reserve, guided by local biosphere rangers, discovering wildlife, birds, fungi and edible plants
