This is an 11-week class being offered online. Each of the 11 sessions covers three runes, explored as triplets. The nine runes of the Jotunfolk and the 24 runes of the Elder Futhark. Each session includes a live audio recording of Ingrid teaching the actual class in Portland, Oregon. It also includes a copy of the book 'The Runes Revealed-an (un) familiar journey.

This fast-paced, intensive class includes challenging discussions and thought-provoking questions. I offer suggestions and provide examples of various ways to develop personal relationships with the runes as well asl help you explore creative ways to live in harmony with their ancient wisdom in a modern world.
The class does not follow the usual custom of dividing the runes into aetts and then pairing them up. Rather I take three runes at a time and explore them as triplets. This change allows for new insights, connections and mysteries to emerge. As the ice is melting, the runes are being revealed.
I cannot teach you how to 'read the runes.' It's not a matter of memorizing meanings. They are older than scripture, go beyond language and are ever changing yet always the same. What I do teach is how to look for and see the runes, how to listen to them, how to ask questions and then trust the answers and information you are getting.
The rune symbols or staves, as we know them, are the signatures for ancient beings who hold within themselves deep, resonant vibrations that are timeless, universal truths.
An understanding of the runes is about relationship and about listening to them, honoring them as being alive and vibrating.
Being able to do that requires that you create and nurture your own relationship with them and learn how to listen to the wisdom they have to share with you. It is about always being willing to ask questions, never imaging you have answers.
What I can and will teach you are basic meanings and interpretations of the rune staves. I will also share with you different and specific situations where their wisdom and power can be used for guidance, healing, magic and strength.
I will speak to you about how to explore and venture into requesting relationship with the primal giants, as well as the various gods and goddesses, and other beings, who are associated with and connected to the runes.
