Participating in this class provides you the opportunity to explore, simultaneously, a new and a very old way of engaging with the mystical spirituality of the North.
The Lost Teachings class requires an open mind, the courage to ask some very hard questions that might disturb you and a willingness to challenge your perceptions.
During these five weeks you will learn how to use the Runes together with the Northern Mysteries Wheel of Life to make decisions and choices, reconnect with your ancestors, live more harmoniously with the earth, and find balance by stepping into the Center, over and over again.
You will be given the five simple questions from the Lost Teachings Book and come to understand and appreciate their power and potency when you ask them of yourself, while standing in the Center.

It’s not about learning how to read the Runes.
It is not Runes 101.
It’s about the value and potency that exists when we root ourselves in the dark places of the earth and weave ourselves into the seasons and cycles of nature.
It’s about standing in the Center of life with honor and integrity, understanding and embracing the never-ending cycles of light and dark, life and death and the necessity of harmony and balance with the earth.
You will need a copy of the book Lost Teachings Of The Runes, and it is strongly recommended that you also have a set of 33 runes and a Staff.

Rune wisdom is life wisdom. It’s an ancient coded system that was in existence long before the Romans and the Christians polluted the land and enslaved the people of Northern Europe.
Not just an alphabet, and more than a divination tool, Runes are the signatures of vibrational, sentient beings. They come alive when we learn to listen to them, rather than try to interpret, manipulate, or bind them.
Our tribal, circumpolar ancestors were able, not only to exist, but to thrive in the harsh conditions of the North because of their intimate relationship with the Rune Beings.
This class is taught by Ingrid Kincaid, the Rune Woman. An author, educator, storyteller, and community elder, Ingrid’s connection with the runes is ancestral. She brings to her work a wealth of practical life experience and more than 50 years of teaching. She calls herself an irreverent wise woman.
