The Norns or Nornir are a group of complex, shadowy, supernatural beings well-known in Old Norse mythology.
Often associated with spinning and weaving, their place of origin is twisted together with the wells and roots of the World Tree.
They are said to shape destiny or Wyrd, including that of the gods, and skaldic references connect them with birth, violent death and battle.
Are they witches?
Should we fear them?
How are they connected to the runes?
Could coming to know them possibly bring value during these times?
Can we/should we form relationship with them?
